For too long, high-speed flight has been reserved exclusively for the military or the ultra-wealthy. Ordinary passengers have been flying on the same subsonic transport since the dawn of commercial aviation. Wang Flight Systems exists to change that.
We have established the foundation for our multi-stage roadmap, advancing our initial research phase to scale high-speed flight from subscale concepts to our ultimate objective: the Hypersonic Widebody Civilian Transport.
Across every phase of development, our focus remains absolute. Our aircraft are built for FAA certification and airline economics, engineered specifically for mass-market ordinary passengers.
Wang Flight Systems is organized as four independent limited liability companies, each responsible for a distinct phase of bringing hypersonic civilian transport to market.
The core engine of the program. This entity houses all R&D and engineering for prototypes, operating under our Open Science Commitment to publish all fundamental research and technical findings into the public domain.
The entity that scales prototypes into mass production. Through structured intercompany agreements, it receives engineering services from the Research Division, builds the hardware, and manages direct sales to airlines. Not yet incorporated.
The entity that handles government certification services and executes the actual regulatory work. No aircraft flies without this Division's sign-off. Not yet incorporated.
The service and lifecycle backbone. Because our hypersonic aircraft are perpetual assets rather than single-use vehicles, this entity repairs and services aircraft across their operating lifetime. Not yet incorporated.
We believe the science that enables civilian aerospace belongs to everyone. Every fundamental result this program produces is to be published in the open literature - no paywalls, no delay, no exceptions. We make manuscripts available on this website as soon as they are ready. The knowledge stays public. Always.
We believe aerospace exists to connect people, not to build weapons. Wang Flight Systems conducts fundamental aerospace research and develops aerospace technology exclusively for civilian applications. There is no defense sponsorship, no classified work, and no research subject to ITAR controls.
